PAN 3R-224YHR at a High Plant Population Shows Good Prospects

These large cobs of PAN 3R-224YHR, at a plant population of 92 000 plants per hectare, were picked at Idstone Farming near Douglas. They promise good yield prospects. "These exceptionally beautiful maize cobs, placed on an A4 diary, are approximately 30cm long," says Riaan Janse van Vuuren, Pannar's representative in Douglas.

This genetic platform, consisting of PAN 3R-224YHR, PAN 3A-124, PAN 3R-524R and PAN 3R-724BR, is the quickest in the Pannar series and probably the best irrigation choice currently on the market. These hybrids are also well adapted for high potential dryland production.
