PAN 1532R Performing well at Mtambo Boerdery in Vrede

Nkosana Mtambo farms near Vrede in the eastern Free State and is super excited about his soybean crop from PAN 1532R. Nkosana did his first planting on 15 October for a plant population of 280 000 plants per hectare. This planting was unfortunately damaged by hail in the 1st week of December. Nkosana replanted some of the lands on the 13th of December with the same cultivar, PAN 1532R. Nkosana planted 700 ha soybeans on his two farms and is expecting a crop of 3 – 4 t/ha. He says: “I’m so excited, the performance is great. Pannar is the best!”.

PAN 1532R is a MG 5.3 cultivar with tolerance to glyphosate herbicide. It delivers very good, stable performance across all production areas. PAN 1532R, in combination with PAN 1555R (MG 5.7) and PAN 1521R (MG 5.7) is an excellent package for the cool and temperate production regions. PAN 1532R is an excellent irrigation cultivar and the first choice for a wheat/soybean rotation system. PAN 1532R has an upright plant type, is well-adapted to high plant populations and narrow inter-row spacing. What’s more, it offers good standability and harvests easily.
