In the North West, farmer Obakeng Taje stands proudly among his healthy soybean plants at Taje Farming. These beautiful photos were shared with us by Hendrik Mokoto, the knowledgeable Pannar sales representative for Mafikeng. They showcase Obakeng’s PAN 1521R soybean cultivars performing exceptionally well under dryland conditions in the Tswaing Municipality.
As Hendrik puts it: “Excellent crop.” If we need to single out a cultivar for preferential planting it is PAN 1521R. It offers unmatched yield potential and stability (yield probability) over different production areas and seasons. It’s equally well-suited to cool, temperate and hot regions. This cultivar has a characteristically strong and deeply developed root system, which comes into its own in the water table soils of the western production regions. A winning combination of yield and agronomic characteristics!
We wish Obakeng and his outstanding soybean crop every success in the months ahead!
