Last week, the first strip trials of 2023 were planted in KwaZulu-Natal in Underberg and Dundee by Kerry Rowlands, Pannar's agronomist in KwaZulu-Natal, and Andrew du Plessis who serves the Kokstad/Underberg regions as well as Willem Janse van Rensburg who serves the Dundee/Vryheid districts.
Pannar's team plants a large number of strip and P3 trials every year to test and identify the very best cultivars, as well as promising new cultivars in Pannar's pipeline. The P3 in the P3 trials stands for "Pannar Preferred Products" and gives us the opportunity to make unbiased performance comparisons for accurate cultivar recommendations.
