World-class Extravaganzas

The popular PANNAR Crop Extravaganzas took place once again this year. These world-class exhibitions at Delmas, Klerksdorp, Kroonstad, Biesiesvlei and in KwaZulu-Natal kicked off in mid-February at Delmas.
The Extravaganzas provided the ideal opportunity to gather first-hand information about the latest cultivars and crop packages for each production region. The dynamic PANNAR sales team was also on hand to share suitable suggestions and product recommendations with visitors.
The topics included interesting agronomic information on:
- New seed technology and prevalent diseases;
- Good early weed control; the foundation for good harvest prospects;
- New white maize hybrids on which you can rely; PAN 5Q-433B and PAN 6Q-445B;
- Trustworthy new yellow maize hybrids; PAN 6Q-308B and PAN 6Q-508R;
- Incomparable yellow irrigation hybrids; the PAN 6236B family and the new benchmark for yield performance PAN 3Q-740BR;
- Excellent sunflower package including Clearfield® and high oleic acid hybrids;
- Super Roundup Ready® soybean cultivars – RR technology at its best;
- The leading dry bean and grain sorghum package; and
- Forage crops – a complete package for summer and winter.
The Extravaganzas were very well attended by a healthy cross section of producers and various agricultural faculties, colleges and schools. As always, the social interaction between guests, agronomists, plant pathologists, plant breeders and marketing representatives supports the exchange of product recommendations and technical and practical experience and of course the broadening of industry networks.
