Ever-Popular Extravaganzas
Hundreds of producers from across the summer rainfall region flocked to PANNAR’s Crop Extravaganzas in February, March and April, with many expressing strong interest in the superb cultivars.
These premier events, held at Delmas, Klerksdorp, Kroonstad, Biesiesvlei, Karkloof, Greytown and Winterton, provided the ideal opportunity to take a look at the latest cultivars and compare them to previous top-performers. The dynamic sales force was on hand to share helpful hints and product recommendations. Rounding out the PANNAR experience were thought-provoking presentations by guest speakers Professors Willie Esterhuyse and Dave Pepler on pertinent environmental issues.
“The extravaganzas are a great opportunity to see the latest seed varieties available. There are always interesting guest speakers. One also has a chance to interact with fellow farmers, plant breeders and other professionals. I always leave having learnt something new,” says Steve Church a maize and soybean producer from Greytown who attended three extravaganzas.
